About

The Nevada Court Reporters Association (formerly Nevada Shorthand Reporters Association) was formally established in 1983 for the purpose of promoting the interests and concerns of shorthand reporters within the state of Nevada; to collect and disseminate information valuable to shorthand reporters; to facilitate the cooperation of its members to their mutual advantage and protection in matters relating to the profession of shorthand reporting; and to engage in any lawful act or activity for which corporations may be organized under the nonprofit corporation law of the state of Nevada.

NVCRA has since evolved into an association that exists for the promotion and advocacy of stenographic, voice writing, captioning, and CART professionals throughout the state of Nevada.
